Privacy Policy

How lora.cx handles personal data, cookies and your rights under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.

This policy explains how lora.cx (“Lora”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit the site. For any question or request about your data, email privacy@lora.cx.

What data do we collect?

Server and security logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) To run, secure and troubleshoot the website For a limited period set by our hosting provider, then deleted
Search terms you enter on the site To return search results Not stored by us beyond normal server logs

Do we use cookies?

Lora does not use advertising or analytics cookies. WordPress may set strictly necessary cookies, for example for security or if you log in. If we add analytics or any non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Do we collect data through forms?

The only form on the site is the search box. Lora has no accounts, newsletters, comments, gambling or payments.

What is our legal basis?

We process server logs, search and font requests on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website, and we handle data requests to comply with our legal obligations. Where consent is required, for example for non-essential cookies, we will ask for it.

Who do we share data with?

Service providers that host, secure and deliver the site (including our hosting provider and Google Fonts), under their terms and data protection commitments. We do not sell personal data. Links to other websites, including regulators and other sites, are governed by those sites’ own policies.

What are your rights?

Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you
  • have inaccurate data corrected
  • have your data erased
  • restrict or object to our processing
  • receive your data in a portable format, where applicable
  • withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
  • complain to a data protection authority, such as the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or the authority in your EU country

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@lora.cx. We will respond within one month, as the law requires, and may ask you to confirm your identity.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK or EU. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place, such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our practices change, for example if we add analytics.
